Brazil Rio Brilhante

Originally named "Rio Brilhante" (meaning "bright river") to honor its crystal-clear water source, Urban's farm sits above the massive Guarani Aquifer—the second-largest underground reservoir on the planet, stretching across multiple countries.

While coffee remains the primary focus across more than 1,600 hectares, the farm also spans an additional 700+ hectares dedicated to cotton, soy, corn, tomatoes, beans, and cattle pasture. Today, Urban's sons are actively involved in running the farm. This family-led approach keeps responsibility and innovation at the heart of their operations, ensuring that the farm's rich 30-year history will be honored and carried forward for decades to come.

This is our main espresso in the shop, in Copenhagen. With notes of chocolate and hazelnut, it’s great for all milk based brews, but also a full-bodied filter coffee in the morning.
