María Belén Díaz
Daughter of a coffee grower, María Belén has been connected to coffee her whole life and producing specialty coffee for over 12 years. She previously worked as a coffee quality analyst in Cauca, Colombia, where she refined her cupping skills. She is one of 96 women in the Huila Condor Project and was among the first in the region to earn a coffee processing certification from The Forest Academy in 2024.
She produces coffee with her husband Narciso Narváez and their three sons on the “Resinas” farm in Acevedo, Huila. There they grow Papayo, Caturra, Castillo, Borbón Rosado, and Gesha, with the dream of seeing their coffee recognized internationally.
